Amanda’s Top Ten Tuesday – Books Settings I’d Visit

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week we talk about our top ten with a different topic provided by Jana. This week’s topic is ten book settings, whether real or fictional, I’d love to visit.

The Evolution of Claire by Tess Sharpe
I’m obsessed with Jurassic Park. I want to visit so badly, but specifically, during the time of Claire’s internship when the park’s mostly under control and not yet reached Jurassic World antics.

Weather Girl by Rachel Lynn Solomon
Seattle is on my USA to visit list.

One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston
I want to visit the mysterious, time-traveling train.

The Weeping Tide by Amanda Foody
I’d love to visit any of the places in this series, but I love the sea, so obviously, I’d prefer to visit there.

For the Wolf by Hannah Whitten
The! Wilderwood!

The Library of the Unwritten by A.J. Hackwith
Yes, please, I would like to visit the library in Hell.

A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers
I would very much like to get tea from Sibling Dex at their tea cart.

Fable by Adrienne Young
A ride aboard the Marigold? All my pirate fantasy dreams would come true.

A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas
Can Antonia and I somehow get the House of Wind for a few nights as an Air B&B or something?

The Iron Fey by Julia Kagawa
I could have put any number of books here for this bookish setting, but this is the one that popped into my head first. Who doesn’t want to visit the Fey at some point in their lives?

What books did you pick for this prompt this week?

Keep on reading lovelies, Amanda.

Antonia’s Top Ten Tuesday: Book Settings I Want to Visit

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This week’s topic is Books Set In a Place I’d Love to Visit (real places or fictional).

The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss – I would love to go to the University and just live in the archives.

House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas – I’m not sure I’d want to live in Crescent City because I’m not a city person in general but it sounds so cool.

A Psalm for the Wild Built by Becky Chambers – All of the places in this one just seem so peaceful.

Daughter of the Deep by Rick Riordan – I want to live on the Nautilus so bad.

Artemis by Andy Weir – The. Actual. Moon.

The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan – Camp Half-Blood!

The Awakening by Nora Roberts – I would love to go to both Ireland and Talamh.

Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo – I know Fjerda is kind of terrible but I would love to see the Ice Court.

The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan – Egypt would be amazing to visit.

The Outstretched Shadow by Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory – This elven city sounds like the absolute perfect place to live.

What bookish places do you want to go?
