Blogmas Day Twenty-Four: Amanda’s End of Year-A-Thon TBR

Hello, lovelies! End of Year-A-Thon has arrived! Check out my announcement post or Vicky’s announcement post for all the details. This readathon starts the day after Christmas, the 26th, and will run right up until 11:59pm on the 31st. We have some totally optional prompts if you like to have prompts to create a TBR list. That’s what I’m going to be sharing with you all today. I like to have prompts to pick options from my unread books, so let’s get into the books I’ve picked to go with our five prompts.

A book that was published in 2021

Float Plan by Trish Doller

A book from a series you’ve already started, but haven’t finished

Tarnished Empire by Danielle L. Jensen

A book by an own voices author

The Heart Principle by Helen Hoang

Your most recently acquired book (bought, borrowed, gifted, etc.)

The Cursed Carnival and Other Calamities by Rick Riordan & other authors

A book with gold on the cover

Beneath the Citadel by Destiny Soria

There we have it. These are the five books that I’m hoping to read in this final week of 2021. Are you participating in my readathon? If you are, share your TBR list in the comments so I can see them!

Keep on reading lovelies, Amanda.

Blogmas Day Three: Amanda’s December TBR Jar Picks

Hello, lovelies! I have lots of fun things planned for Antonia and me to share with you this Blogmas. But first up will be my final TBR jar picks of 2021. I’m still in the midst of the Clear Your Shit Readathon (find my tbr for that here.) And a few weeks ago I announced round four of End of Year-A-Thon, so expect a separate TBR post for that later this month. So, I’m only going to choose five books and a few of my NetGalley arc’s to add to my TBR this month. Some of those might cross over with the two readathons, but we will see!

Graphic Novel

Lore Olympus: Volume One by Rachel Smythe

Most Recent Purchase

Game On: Tempting Twenty-Eight by Janet Evanovich

Sequel

The God of Lost Words by A.J. Hackwith

Romance

The Heart Principle by Helen Hoang

Young Adult

Into the Wild Light by Jeff Zentner

These are the five books I’ve picked from my TBR jar prompts. I’m really trying to get all of my 2021 NetGalley arc’s finished before the year is over.

No Beauties or Monsters by Tara Goedjen

The Excalibur Curse by Kiersten White

If This Gets Out by Sophie Gonzales & Cale Dietrich

These are the handful of books I’m hoping to finish in December. Check out my Clear Your Shit Readathon TBR to see what else I’ll likely read this month and keep an eye out for my readathon TBR. What are you hoping to read this month?

Keep on reading lovelies, Amanda.

Hello, lovelies! I am more than excited to share with you the books I’m planning to read in the final days of 2019. I have been thinking about what books to include since Vicky and I started talking about the prompts for this round. Let’s talk about what books I plan to read (but will probably change a million times.) This readathon will be going on starting December 26th (at midnight in your time zone) until December 31st (right up until the ball drops!)

Prompts:

Read a 2019 release

The Burning Shadow by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Read a book with a red cover

This Mortal Coil by Emily Suvada

Read a book from a series you haven’t finished

These Divided Shores by Sara Raasch

Read a book under 300 pages

Life is Strange: Dust by Emma Vieceli, Claudia Leonardi, & Andrea Izzo

Read a book released before 2019

The Emerald Sea by Richelle Mead

Read a diverse book

The Wicked + The Divine: Commercial Suicide by Kieron Gillen & Jamie McKelvie

I picked books that I’m really excited about, but for some reason just haven’t picked them up yet. Knowing how I am though, I’m sure I’ll change my mind and end up reading different books that fit the prompts. You’ll have to wait for my wrap up to find out!

Let me know what you plan to read for this readathon in the comments!
