Blogtober Day Four: Amanda’s Top Ten Tuesday – Fictional Places to Spend Halloween

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week we talk about our top ten with a different topic provided by Jana. This week’s topic is my favorite bookstores or bookstores I’d like to visit. Since it’s Blogtober and spooky season, I’m going to give this a twist. I found this idea here. I’m going to share ten fictional places I’d want to spend Halloween.

Stars Hollow
This is where Gilmore Girls takes place.

Halloween Town
Who doesn’t want to visit here?

Sawkill Rock
Creepy as hell but I still want to go.

The Los Angeles Institute
From Lady Midnight, really any of the institutes, but The Dark Artifices is my favorite of the Shadowhunters series.

St. Vladimir’s Academy
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead must be on this list. I’d love to go to school here.

The Starless Sea
This is from The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern. Not a specifically spooky place, but I’d love to go.

Watcher’s Academy
But maybe after they save the day and everything. Slayer by Kiersten White.

Ellingham Academy
The Truly Devious series by Maureen Johnson is one of my favorites. This school sounds so cool and I would love to explore it.

Jurassic Park
This would be absolutely terrifying, but I still want to go. I read both of the Jurassic Park books by Micheal Crichton this year and my love of dinosaurs is only growing.

The Wilderwood
From For the Wolf by Hannah Whitten. This forest sound spectacularly spooky.

These are some fictional placed I’d love to visit for Halloween. What did you choose for this week?

Keep on reading lovelies, Amanda.
