Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week we talk about our top ten with a different topic provided by Jana. This week’s topic is ten of the best books I read in 2021. I’ll do a few of these lists more in-depth next month, so here’s a sort of preview.

Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao
A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers
One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston
For the Wolf by Hannah Whitten
The Bronzed Beasts by Roshani Chokshi
Into the Dying Light by Katy Rose Pool
Little Thieves by Margaret Owen
The Infinity Courts by Akemi Dawn Bowman
Cool for the Summer by Dahlia Adler
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir
What were some of the best books you read in 2021?
Keep on reading lovelies, Amanda.
Iron Widow was one of my favorites this year too! And I’ve seen Project Hail Mary on SO many lists, I have the audiobook of that and hope to pick it up very soon!
I’ve heard great things about the audio!
I have too which is why I’m excited to listen to it! 😍
A Psalm for the Wild-Built and Project Hail Mary are also on my list. I have seen them on many lists today, which makes me happy!
I love that The Infinity Courts made your list. It is so underrated!
I love that for PHM and Psalm for the Wild-Built! I’m always talking about Infinity Courts because I never see anyone else talking about it!
Love seeing your faves! Need to pick some of these up, espcially Project Hail Mary!
Oh, absolutely!
One Last Stop is also one of my favorites of the year 💜
