Amanda’s Top Ten Tuesday – Book Covers

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week we talk about our top ten with a different topic provided by Jana. This week’s topic is top ten – Book Cover Freebie (choose what kind(s) of covers you want to talk about: prettiest, most unique, most misleading, weirdest, most memorable, creepiest, ugliest, etc.)

Today I will be sharing books I bought or read because of the covers and ended up loving the story inside. These are the books I bought or read because the cover drew me in first before knowing anything else about the book, but thankfully the inside was as stunning as the outside.

  1. House of Salt and Sorrows was a cover-buy for me! I hadn’t ever heard of it, and had to buy it as soon as I saw it. I also bought Reverie by Ryan LaSala for its cover. I’ve already read it, but only as an e-ARC, so I wanted to have a copy on my shelf. 🙂

Have any thoughts?
