Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week we talk about our top ten with a different topic provided by Jana. This week’s topic is top ten – (First Ten) Books I Reviewed
1. Halo, Hades, & Heaven by Alexandra Adornetto
These were the first three books I reviewed. They’re all from the same series so I thought I would group them together.
2. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
One of my favorite books by one of my favorite authors.
3. Wings, Spells, Illusions, & Destined by Aprilynne Pike
Again, I reviewed each of these books individually but it’s a series so I’m grouping them together.
4. Swoon & Swear by Nina Malkin
Read this review to see me complain about these books.
5. Bloodlines, The Golden Lily, & The Indigo Spell by Richelle Mead
Forever vampire trash, nothing new here.
6. The Face of Deception by Iris Johansen
I used to be obsessed with this author. All of the thrillers.
7. 1st to Die by James Patterson
The Women’s Murder Club will be a forever favorite.
8. Looking for Alaska by John Green
Staying on brand with my love for this author.
9. The Immortal Rules & The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa
Kagawa is the author that really had me obsessed with fae and faerie.
10. Call Me Irresistable by Susan Elizabeth Phillips
Always my go-to for predictiable romance when I want it.
These are my first ten reviews (sort of) that I wrote! What were yours?
Keep on reading lovelies, Amanda.
It’s certainly interesting to have a trip down memory lane and look at our first reviews! Great list. 🙂
Thanks! It was bizarre making this post because it doesn’t feel like it was five years ago I was reading these books!
Great list! One of these days I’m going to give one of Julie Kagawa’s books a try – so far she’s somehow passed me by!
I love her books and highly recommend her!
The Fault in Our Stars is a great read.
My TTT.
The Fault In Our Stars I definitely reviewed in my first year of blogging, though it wasn’t one of the first ten. Sadly I didn’t love it as much as you did!

John Green is a favorite of mine. He really can do no wrong in my eyes.
Fair enough!
I’ve only read one of these—THE FAULT IN OUR STARS. I loved it as much as everyone else did, although I haven’t read anything else by John Green. Weird.
Happy TTT!

Looking for Alaska is my favorite by him!
I really enjoyed the Bloodlines series, but I never reviewed the series! Here is my Top Ten Tuesday.
I’m actually thinking of doing a reread sooon! This post reminded me of how much I loved them,
I still have never read anything by John Green or Julie Kagawa. It’s interesting to see what people were reading during their early blogging days.
Theyre two of my favorites!
AH, yesss! John Green!!! Honestly, Looking For Alaska is my favourite of his and the very first book I read by him so I am extra soft over it. And hellllloo, Richelle Mead books. I’m the ultimate trash can for her books to be honest haha soo many good throwbacks on here.
I agree so hard with everything you said hahah. Looking for Alaska is my favorite John green book.
