Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week we talk about our top ten with a different topic provided by Jana. This week’s topic is top ten – Audio Freebie (Any audio goes: audiobooks, music, podcasts, you name it.) I’m going to share my top ten favorite audiobooks.
The Themis Files by Sylvain Neuvel
Sadie by Courtney Summers
The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus
Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu
Challenger Deep by Neal Shusterman
Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson
Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Puddin’ by Julie Murphy
What are your favorite audiobook books?
Keep on reading lovelies, Amanda.
Great list. I’ve heard really good things about Sadie’s audio. I might give it a try sometime if I can bare to go through the story again (my heart!).
You definitely should give the audio a try!
I haven’t really got through an audiobook. I never quite have the concentration for them but maybe I just haven’t found the right one.
Have you tried any with a full cast of narrators?
Completely agree that the two narrators for Evelyn Hugo are brilliant! I’m planning to listen to Truly Devious next month so that’s awesome to see on your list! 😊
My Audiobook Wishlist.
I loved it! Kate Rudd is the narrator and she’s a fav of one of my friends.
Good to know!
I’ve heard such good things about the Sadie audiobook! I enjoyed both Challenger Deep and Moxie (though I read them in physical format) but One of Us Is Lying was kind of a letdown for me.

Sadie was amazing on audio. I’d heard so many mixed things about one of us is Lying so I didn’t go in with huge expectations. I thought it was fun & the audio was good.
That’s good to hear! I listened to the last half on audio because my Netgalley was playing up, and I didn’t love it, but then I’d already not loved the book so far, so I don’t reckon the change of format helped or hindered that.
Do you listen to a lot of audiobooks in general?
My Top Ten Tuesday post.
I go through about one each week. It depends. Sometimes I’ll listen to two a week, sometimes I’ll listen to one over two weeks.
I have a couple of these on my list. And honestly? My favorite audiobook so far has been Jim Gaffigan’s DAD IS FAT. He’s a family-friendly comedian and I’m sure I scared a few people at stoplights with my cackling.
This is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
Ill have to look that up and see if my library has it! I love funny audiobooks. Yes Please by Amy Poehler was one of my favs!
I loved the Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, and because it’s told so much in 2nd person, I’m sure listening to it as an audiobook would be great!
I see Sadie on several lists today! I haven’t gotten the hang of audiobooks but I still made a list 😂 https://orangecountyreaders.com/top-ten-tuesday-top-ten-celebrity-read-books/
I love your list!
Oooo, great list!! I am an avid audiobook listener and almost enjoy listening to audiobooks more than reading books.

Certain books were MADE to be audiobooks I think.
Sadie seems really popular this week. I’ve only listened to about a dozen audiobooks so I don’t have a favorite yet. I’m listening to Six of Crows right now and it’s pretty good though.
I can’t listen to fantasy on audio. I always miss important things and end up lost.
I’ve only tried one audio book, but I work at a library and they are very popular. I chose to do my Top Ten Tuesday blog post on music. https://ddominikwicklesromance.wordpress.com/2019/03/26/ttt-top-10-romantic-songs/
Yes, One of Us Is Lying was pretty great on audiobook. 🙂
Lauren @ Always Me
Great list! I really want to check out Puddin’.
Krystianna @ Downright Dystopian
Have you read Dumplin’?
The Themis Files is an AMAZING audiobook. For me too it is one of the best audiobooks I’ve ever listened to
I completely agree!
