Amanda’s Top Ten Tuesday – Sequels I Want

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week we talk about our top ten with a different topic provided by Jana. This week’s topic is top ten – Standalone Books That Need a Sequel.

Looking for Alaska by John Green
I need to know how the rest of Pudge and the Colonel’s story goes.

Sadie by Courtney Summers
HELLO, THAT ENDING. YES I NEED A SEQUEL

Sawkill Girls by Claire Legrand
I’d totally read a sequel of these characters finding all the creepy darkness all over the world and kicking its butt.

Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu
A book that follows Vivian into college? I’d read that without a doubt.

The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo
I want all the books in verse by this author. I’d love to see more of Xiomara doing slam poetry.

Anger is a Gift by Mark Oshiro
Another book about Moss standing up for what’s right? Sign me up.

The Astonishing Color of After by Emily X.R. Pan
I want all the stories about Leigh and her artwork.

Rayne and Delilah’s Midnite Matinee by Jeff Zentner
This book ended so well, but I want more from Delia and Josie.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
I just want to hang out with Evelyn Hugo forever and ever.

Dry by Neal and Jarrod Shusterman
Honestly, I have no idea how they would do a sequel I just loved this book and want more.

What standalones do you want to get a sequel? Let me know in the comments!

Keep on reading lovelies, Amanda.
