Amanda’s Top Ten Tuesday – Character Swap

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week we talk about our top ten with a different topic provided by Jana. This week’s topic is top ten – Characters I’d Like To Switch Places With

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
I’d switch places with Mor or Amren because they’re both badass powerful ladies and I’d love to be a member of the inner circle in the Night Court.

Broken Beautiful Hearts by Kami Garcia
Peyton is fierce and strong and doesn’t back down. Plus the love interest is totally my type.

Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu
I’d totally switch places with Vivian. She’s the feminist role model everyone needs.

Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas
Aelin or Lysandra. I would be happy being a Queen or a shapeshifter.

Hard Eight by Janet Evanovich
I’d switch place with Stephanie in just this book of the series.

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
Let me be Rose Hathaway any day.

Skyward by Brandon Sanderson
Spensa is determined, fierce, and dedicated. I’d switch with her and be a pilot if I had the chance.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone by J.K. Rowling
Hermione is someone I’d switch with because she’s smart and the underrated hero of the HP series.

Looking for Alaska by John Green
Alaska is the life of the party. I’d switch places with her but only for the first half of the book.

Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
I am the Sun Summoner. So, yes, I would switch places with Alina.

What characters would you like to switch places with? Let me know in the comments!

Keep on reading lovelies, Amanda.

  1. Great list, Amanda! I am so happy to see Vivian on here — she’s a wonderful character with wonderful friends. In fact, I’d love to switch places with her just so I could get to know her friends better. XD Does that make me a bad person? I’m so glad you’ve also read Moxie! 🙂

  2. Loved your choices! Alaska would be an interesting switch. I’d probably switch with Ginny! I would love to be in the Weasley house for a day
