Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week we talk about our top ten with a different topic provided by Jana. This week’s topic is top ten – Upcoming Releases I’m On the Fence About.
I’m going to change this a bit because I don’t have any new releases that I’m on the fence about. I’m going to be talking about 2019 releases that I’m planning to read but I’m on the fence about buying because I’m trying to do a no-buy 2019 (with the exception of new releases that are part of a series I already own.)
Slayer by Kiersten White
Stain by A.G. Howard
Dysasters by P.C. & Kristen Cast
The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon
The Last Voyage of Poe Blythe by Ally Condie
Starworld by Audry Coulthurst & Paula Garner
Again, but Better by Christine Riccio
How it Feels to Float by Helena Fox
Girls of July by Alex Flinn
The Year They Fell by David Kreizman
What 2019 releases are you on the fence about reading? Which are you on the fence about buying? Let me know below!
Keep on reading lovelies, Amanda.
Yeah, I’m not so sure about The Priory of the Orange Tree either.
This is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
I definitely want to read it but I’m not sure if I want to buy it.
Oh I’m also on the fence about Slayer!
Great list!
I’ve seen some iffy reviews on Again, but Better that really has me not excited for it? So hopefully I can get it from my library
Oh no! I haven’t really seen any reviews for it.
I’m planning on reading the Priory of the Orange Tree. And I’m trying not to buy too many new books, until I’ve made a dent in my old ones… with mixed success. 😉 My TTT
Same here! Mixed success but the preorders are starting to come in lol. I definitely want to read it. I’m just not sure about buying it.
That’s the best way to decide on buying it, right? Get it from the library first!
Most definitely. I like to do that with books I want to listen to on audio!
I really want The Gilded Wolves but I’m on the fence about buying before reading it. I mean, I did buy A Curse So Dark and Lonely based on a review so I’ll probably like it? I dunno. Maybe I’m just trying to not buy so many books LOL.
Same! I want it bcuz I’ve heard so many good things but I’m trying to show restraint and wait.
