Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week we talk about our top ten with a different topic provided by Jana. This week’s topic is top ten – Cozy Reads.
1. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling
2. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
3. The Seven Realms & Shattered Realms series by Cinda Williams Chima
4. Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch
5. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
6. Moon Chosen by P.C. Cast
7. Graceling by Kristen Cashore
8. The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco
9. An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green
10. Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
What books do you consider cozy reads?
Keep on reading lovelies, Amanda.
Great list, the Harry Potter series is definitely a top cosy read. Embarrassingly, I cried too much during The Book Thief to see it as a relaxing book to pick up again soon!
I don’t know that I find any book rslasvibg hah!
I’ve only read the first two on your list, but I agree — they’re definitely wintry-type books. All the winter/Christmas scenes at Hogwarts are magical!
Happy TTT!

I feel like winter is the best time for fantasy!
I’ve been meaning to read An Absolutely Remarkable Thing. I’m glad it’s a cozy read!
My Top Ten Tuesday!
It was so so good! It’s definitely a book to curl up with and read in one sitting!
Awesome! Those kinds of books are great. 🙂
I’d really like to read Shadow and Bone. I really enjoyed Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom. Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
They’re all great books!! I can’t wait for King of Scars!
I’m sincerely bowing at you for your excellent taste! AND THE FACT THAT YOU INCLUDED THE SEVEN HUSBANDS OF EVELYN HUGO. I’m EMOTIONAL and entirely thrilled about it. Seriously though, so many good books. The Book Thief–I can’t believe I didn’t add that to my list. I’ve let myself down, someone should just show me the door. (But really though, this list is A+, 10/10, superb, you get my point.)
This was a pretty hard list. I could have gone on and on I think. So I’m glad you appreciate my choices! I tried to go with books that I would sit and binge in one sitting, if possible.
I got Shadow and Bone for Black Friday Weekend. I need to try to read that series this winter.
You most definitely do! Such a good series!
The Book Thief is perfect for this time of year. Thanks for sharing!
