Tome Topple Readathon – TBR

Hello again bookfriends! It’s time for another Tome Topple Reading Challenge. For thoses of you that are new here, feel free to watch Sam’s video about Tome Topple here! Essentially I’m going to be reading books that are ‘tomes’ meaning they are over 500 pages. This will be going from November 16th to November 29th. There are a few challenges provided but the only requirement is to read books over 500 pages! I’m only going to list the challenges that i am attempting to fulfill.

A tome that is part of a series

Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas is the book I’m most excited to read. I’ve been rereading the rest of the series to have them fresh in my mind and it’s just in time for tome topple! I do have to finish Tower of Dawn before starting KoA, but I’m hoping to get through both of these.

An adult novel

In my attempt to read more nonfiction i came across The Recovering: Intoxication and it’s Aftermath by Leslie Jamison. I’ve heard good things and this is an issues that I’ve been effected by. So I’m going to give the audiobook a try.

More than one tome

I am hoping to read The Book Thief by Markus Zusak which is the book we’re reading in the local book club I’m in for the months that Barnes and Nobel doesn’t have book club. Another is Moon Chosen by P.C. Cast. Also, if possible I’d like to read City of Glass by Cassandra Clare because I’m trying to reread all the books in anticipation of Queen of Air and Darkness coming out next month.

I’m also totally willing to do a buddy read, so if anyone’s reading any of these books or has one like it that they suggest let me know!
